Terms of Service

1. The service

urban:EXPORT (urban-export.ildar.space) is operated by IL DARK, ildar.space (“we”). It builds 3D models, drawings and maps of a chosen area from open data and lets you download them in CAD, BIM, 3D and image formats. By using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Free use and credits

Each device can download 3 areas a day up to 5 km² each for free. Building and previewing models is free; larger areas and downloads beyond the daily limit are paid with prepaid credits when you download files, as described on the Pricing page. Credits are tied to the email you sign in with, do not expire, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and are used only within urban:EXPORT. A paid area can be downloaded again in any format without additional charge.

3. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns. On your card statement the charge appears as PADDLE.NET* with the seller name portfolico — that is the account urban:EXPORT sells through. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to your purchase. Prices may change; changes never affect credits you have already bought.

4. Data and licences

Models are made from third-party open data: OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), Overture Maps, Mapterhorn and Copernicus DEM, Esri imagery and others listed on the site. Data can be incomplete or inaccurate — building heights in particular are often estimated. You are responsible for checking the results before relying on them. When you publish work based on the data, keep the attribution required by its licence (for OpenStreetMap: “© OpenStreetMap contributors”).

5. Acceptable use

Do not use automated means to bypass limits, overload the service or the public data servers it relies on, or resell access to the service.

6. No warranty, limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
